I once did a little parody animation, the opening sequence
for Babylon 5: The Animated Series. A friend liked
the animation enough that they asked for a desktop wallpaper
of the 'logo' and the station done in that style, so I did
that for them.

This is my idealized self-portrait. A different version of
it - a much more accurate one - appears on the frontpage
of this site. I'd like my hair to be that long, and I do
wear glasses a lot of the time, so... with a bit of time,
it's fairly accurate except for the green eyes.

A picture of the character I played on Children of the
Atom in its second incarnation. Sparks was a fun
character and - yes - she was named after my nickname.
The character was based on an illustration from a Japanese
horror novel, but the pose seemed to suit the ten-year-old
streetbrat-turned-New-Mutant Sparks.

A character from a long-since-defunct story I was writing,
based heavily on art from the Lodoss Tousenki novels
by Ryo Mizuno. This was done back when I was still heavily
trying to copy other people's styles.

Naldeia, the desert bandit. A character who appears in the
Lodoss Tousenki novels. A very interesting character. I was
trying to draw in the style of the Lodoss illustrations,
and so I tried drawing her based on one of the book
illustrations. Naldeia did not appear in the OAVs of
Lodoss, but she does appear in the TV anime.

sketch I did while stuck somewhere and actually liked.
It's at least relatively accurate to the character.

Nasako was the character of a comic I was doing, and was
also the subject of an experiment trying to do more
in the way of modelling an anime and rendering it under
Lightwave. This was her in her powered-up form, throwing
an energy-blast. It was not rendered in 'anime' or
'manga' styles.

This was Nasako in a gym uniform, rendered using the
'anime' filter I worked up for Lightwave. This would
be used for doing cel-style animation; it was a combination
of settings under SuperCelShader and my own post-processing
stuff.

Colin Suche, a character from a story I was writing. Colin was
supposed to be about 16 in this picture, and in the academy
of a spacegoing fleet, hence the uniform.

On Children of the Atom in its third incarnation, where I
play Angelica Jones (a.k.a. Firestar), we re-enacted our
own version of the Marvel 'Inferno' plot, and during it,
Angel was taken by Illyana and made into a demonic
handmaiden. This is Morningstar, the fallen version of
Angel.
